🥥 Signature Ingredients
Goda Masala stands apart from other Indian blends due to the inclusion of two primary ingredients that are rarely found in North Indian masalas:
- Dry Coconut (Sookha Nariyal or Khobra): This is dry-roasted until dark and gives the masala its signature nutty, savory, and deep flavor base.
- Stone Flower (Dagad Phool or Patthar ka Phool): A lichen that has virtually no flavor on its own but, when added to hot oil, imparts an earthy, mossy, smoky aroma essential to Goda Masala.
